Message from the Head of Study Program

First of all, I would like to thank all the students who have chosen to learn in the Department of Electrical Engineering, part of Faculty of Engineering of President University. On behalf of the entire faculty and staff in the Department of Electrical Engineering, allow me to welcome you with warm greetings and congratulate you in joining the family of Electrical Engineering. You are a part of family not only while you go through the process of learning on campus, but also later on after graduation. Once and forever you will be a part of the family of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering – President University.You should begin your learning activities with pride to be an engineering student who will hold the title of Electrical Engineering Degree. So that, you grow love in all of the subjects that you will study and thus, you can absorb knowledge optimally in which you can develop in the field of any profession that you will have.


For the time being, the new curriculum that will take effect from September 2016 allow you to select one of the 3 (three) concentrations that can be selected in the 7th semester. The three concentrations are Control Systems, Communication Systems, and Power Systems.In order to ensure the quality of our graduates, overall, you will be taught by lecturers – tenured faculty and part – time who hold doctorate degree, both from high-rank reputation universities abroad recognized by KEMENRISTEKDIKTI through equality, such as from Universitaet Kaiserslautern-Germany; Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) Germany; Stevens Institute of Technology (SIT), Hoboken – New Jersey, USA; University of Nevada, Reno CA-USA; Texas Technology University, Texas, USA; US Naval Postgraduate School, CA-USA; National Taiwan University of Science & Technology, Taiwan, the national reputation universities of Indonesia, such as from Bandung Institute of Technology; University of Indonesia (UI) Jakarta; North Sumatera University (USU) Medan; University of Brawijaya (Unibraw) Malang.
